Three Thing's I'd Love To Do When I Retire

Work in the Garden from Sun up to Sun down

I've always wanted to grow my own ingredients for the kitchen. I'd love to have around the house all sorts of fruit-bearing trees and take care of those rare ornamental plants and sing to colorful petals kissed by butterflies!

Play and Teach My Grandkids the A-Z of Life

I'd love to have kids running and screaming with delight singing their hearts out embracing me and the hubby. I can imagine them sitting wide eyed listening to our tales and me half arguing with the hubby about the veracity of his stories! I'd squeeze his would be then wrinkled cheeks and make the kids line up to kiss him quick so he'd give them gifts!

Watch the Sunset In a Foreign Land

Hmmmm, I have a long way to go before retirement and I am just about to embark on a new journey! A new career path is waiting for me but that does not deter me from dreaming here of that day when I will have all the time in the world to search for south beach real estate here and there and just wake up each morning to watch the world go by.

Life is too short so let's make the most out of it. It's been said often that we should forgive, be apologetic and love like there is no tomorrow!

~and there is one more thing I'd love to be busy with- running a charitable institution :)

  2. seems, now that i am retired, i have the time and tend to do much of this all the time (save, no children or grand kids, but that is okay) and much more!

  4. Hi Salitype, Bessye here from Visions- what a beautiful picture! I love what you captured in the shot. It seems that something is always coming up that takes over our plans be it kids, work, or just an unexpected change of plans..so waiting for retirement hopefully will set us free to do what we want and enjoy..life is too short. Take care, I shall return,
