Looking Down @ Blue Mesa Badlands, Petrified Forest National Park
If there is one thing that made me so excited and giddy like a child this spring break vacation, was a hike at Blue Mesa in Petrified Forest National Park. First, just the mere mention of the color "blue" makes me excited for my dear blue loving TSS sister, Zenserly of The Letters of November. From the top of Blue Mesa, I can't help but be amazed many times over and over again by desert wonders.
Taking the trail down to the naturally painted Earth, I can't help but feel so joyful with seeing the beauty of Earth, despite being unadorned with trees, the sight we see most often. Instead, what was before me were colored badlands, and blue streaks in badlands is not common ( red, peach, pink and purple are the common colors of badlands).
See my joy in going down to explore the world of blue @ Blue Mesa? Joy beyond compare, priceless!!

Definitely this is one of the most amazing places on Earth my eyes had feasted that filled my heart with such inspiration and joy. Our world is amazing, and studying the geological changes on the Earth is too mind blowing we know no man can equal such greatness. Nature is truly our grandest museum.
Hope to share more about Blue Mesa at Petrified Forest National Park sometime later, meantime, please share with me my excitement of finding more joys of blue.
All photos of me were taken by my hubby, ktl. :)
