Life as Beautiful as it Is....

I was sitting on our working station when a smart young friend who I worked with asked me this question, " ate beth why is it that life seemed to be a sad story"...for a minute I didn't know what to answer him...a few seconds passed by and I just smiled and said...there's so much about this life that can make you see it as a happy story...from the moment you opened your eyes...you see the beautiful first rays of the sun...from the moment you get up on bed there's so many things to be thankful of...he smiled and said, " Now I get it ate Beth...it's the little things that makes us see that life indeed is a happy story...", ...I smiled and said..." Yes indeed...Life is a wonderful story...cherish it as you go through its beautiful pages..." Your everyday struggle is part of it...He left with a smile and said, " I'll always remember that ate Beth...that Life is Beautiful indeed..."

Say "Cheese" and say yes to healthy living

The kids and I all love cheese! They'd ask for snacks every so often when they are at home and I think I found the perfect string cheese snacks for them, yummy and natural, perfect to provide them energy at play.  They love cheese on pasta, with their tacos, salad, pizza and ice cream! Well I do too.
What I love about cheese in moderation is its creamy taste, the a little bit salty, a little bit sweet milky touch on the lips just makes me dreamy about childhood when everything was just a play. When we had all the time in the world to dream about the future and to sleep in the afternoons and play again when we woke up. Eat, sleep and dream again. Eating together has always been our family bonding moment. Dad would talk about his childhood and mom would always make the best cheesy recipes. There's a family whose committed to the manufacture of the best cheese in the world. Sargento offers cheese in shredded, sliced, snacks and other varieties incorporating innovations in their passionately made all natural cheese products. Their cheese expertise in recipes and healthy living ideas are what I think every loving mother would treasure most.

Modern Furniture....

I am a great fan of contemporary living. It is created for comfort and designed to suit your specific taste. Choosing Modern Furniture and decors that will speak highly of you is a task not to be taken lightly. It entails mixing and matching of colors and texture, consideration for space and light, taking into account the kind of personality you want to project. One thing though, do not be scared to express yourself in colors and design -be bold, be unique,be explicit.

Bedroom is "the room" that requires your full attention to details. It is a part of your house that serves not just a sleeping room - it is your place of refuge. Modern Bedroom Sets provides you with just that, solace. It relaxes not just the body but ease the mind as well with its contemporary look and feel.

Modern Furniture

As you set the mood in your boudoir, choosing furnitures for the rest of your house should be easier to do. The theme can freeflow or you may prefer a different motif or eclectic design all together, it is entirely up to you. Put your own stamp in your dwelling place, make it your own. After all, it is a place you will go home to everyday, give it your best shot!

A Tribute to Lady Liberty

While we were still living in NYC, the Bronx to be more precise, my mother and sister came to visit us so of course I wanted to show them some of the many sights in NY.  After we had seen Rockefeller Center, the United Nations, the Sears Tower, Times Square, the Bronx Zoo, and Saint Patrick’s cathedral, we set out to see the Statue of Liberty, saving the best for last. We made this an all-day event, packing a lunch and taking it along.

We first boarded the subway then the Staten Island Ferry but when we arrived the line was huge. We waited and waited and waited.

How crafts help our kids develop

Many busy parents miss a perfect opportunity to help their kids develop spatially, dextrously confidently and socially by neglecting a simple pastime: crafts. It’s difficult to get older kids to start craft-making from scratch, so the time to nurture a likeness for this useful element of child development is when they’re very little. Making crafts will help kids develop in several different ways. At the same time, they’re a perfect bridge-building for parents to spend quality time with their kids, and talk to them in a relaxed environment, doing something they enjoy. Here are some basic ways crafts help our kids develop.

On Love, Work and Free 2-Night Bahamas Cruise

It is one of those days when my mind is moving to and fro like water in the vast sea. Sick and tired and yes needing a break from the stress of working. I called up my mom this morning and told her I am not feeling well and in a flash she sends me donuts and fruit juice. How that makes me feel so blessed and happy, I can not fully describe. You must all be familiar with feelings of unhappiness and discontent everyone normally go through that could be solved by one word, a BREAK...from all the troubles of the demanding world that we live in. One of the things I love doing when blue is checking out my smiling photos and laughing at my own silliness.

Grandma's Home, Blue Tarps and Blue Skies

I am missing seeing a blue sky such as these which could be viewed from one of the rooms of my late grandma's house which is now maintained and preserved to its original design by an uncle.
The storm which just passed has left the place all wet and its wooden structures weaker. My uncle's pets he said also had a hard time during the flood finding not many dry corners of the house.

London Apartments, London Hotels and Bicycles

The wind on my face, the smell of hay, the sound of chirping birds and the smile of people I pass by; the blue skies and the warm sun kissing my eyes and the sweet thought that someone is waiting for me at home makes riding my bike one of the best things I look forward to. It has been months now though since I last had the time to just watch the world go by, biking and watching other bikers.

Sweet- Bitter Melon Leaves

This is one of those leaves that I love eating most. Truly it could be bitter but there's this cooking method that   I have learned from my folks - "while putting the leaves into the casserole one should smile as sweetly as one can"...never fails to turn the bitter taste to sweet...for me that is :-)

A Quinceañera in Style at one of San Diego's Best

San Diego Skyline
What's the best in San Diego? For most people, it is the year round mild weather. Summer is never too hot, winter is never too cold. Year round average temperature is between 60-80F (16- 26C ), though this is true for almost all coastal cities in California. Average summer afternoon temperature is 75F (24C). The Weather Channel lists San Diego as the number one best family vacation destination, because of its year round idyllic climate and variety of destinations.

On Life and Famous Footwear Discount Shoes

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Famous Footwear for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
It's been said time and again that life is a journey. We travel near and far to find that thing called happiness in different places but always the best place for me is home and the best travel companions are my sons. Watching the sky change colors with them is priceless. Sometimes I find it hard keeping up with their energy especially when they are wearing their favorite  famous footwear. Famous Footwear has a variety of styles and offer a very easy shopping experience.

Exploring San Antonio

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of SAVE for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
Mission San Antonio, the Alamo, picture taken by Tes
When I first saw beautiful pictures of Mission San Antonio del Valaro, the Alamo, by fellow Salitype sister and dear friend, Tes, I could not help but plan to visit this place someday. And yes, hopefully, hang out again with dear Salitype sisters for another beautiful reunion. I am always drawn to old buildings, buildings that are deep in history. Alamo is the most famous historical site in Texas, and reminiscing scenes from the historical movie "Alamo" still moves me up to now.

SEO: Are You Being Found By Your Clients?

What is SEO? These three letters are every website's friend, or hopes to be friend. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is the method of structuring websites so that they can be indexed by various search engines such as google, bing, yahoo, msn, among others. A website's good SEO ranking means easily find by potential customers and clients because they are indexed well in searches.

Let me share with you an experience we had a year ago in Alaska, which is a very good example of how a good SEO position brings business more clients. When I was planning for the adventures we will do in Alaska, one of the activities I had in mind was glacier hiking.
