Weight Loss Goal - 1st month


I stepped on the scale one morning and found out I gained 5 lbs in two months. The last couple of months were stressful and I indulged into over eating and occasional drinking with friends.  

It was a perfect timing when I found out our Crossroads church family started a series called Wii Fit. The leaders put together several programs on living and staying healthy (ballroom dancing, running, biking and hiking community, yoga, BBX workout and a lot more. In addition to signing up in one of the activities, I also made a 90-day commitment to exercise regularly, eat healthy and lose weight.  


For breakfast I had small mixed fruit pie


For lunch I had beef vegetable soup and oyster crackers


For dinner, I had french fries and crackers with cheese

  1. good portions Chay, indeed why do we have to deprive ourselves with good and yummy foods, when we can have them but just limit the portions like what you are showing us, so yummy looking.

  2. slowly and surely over the past 4 years i have gained weight.
    I had lost too much, but now i have gained too much.
    Most is due to emotional attitude (which is the root of strange behavior, like compulsive eating and no disipline)
    I seemed to have discovered the root and pounds are sheding (or at least inches)

  3. The dishes look delicious, but would make me hungry again in no time :-)

    According to my nutritionist, I have to eat 6 small servings a day, since I had gestational diabetes before, and now I'm used to this diet.
