Thoughts on Cafe'Well and Living a Healthier Lifestyle

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of CafeWell for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I work with Chris in a downtown LA clinic.  We have been working together for almost ten years.  We share the same passion in helping people who have addictions to get their lives back.  Once a month we agreed to meet in our favorite steak house for a drink and the Chef’s famous ribeye steak. I told my wife that once in a while I need to hang out with the guys and talk about guy stuff.  My wife understands that I work in a clinic with more female staff members than male and live in a house with her and our daughter, once in a while I need an adult male conversation.

The last time Chris and I met, he convinced me to sign up for a program called CafeWell.  CafeWell is a social network that connects the member with other members in a safe and secure place to share health care interests and needs, obtain advice from experts and join the fun challenges.  To become a member, one has to sign up on the social network  called  Café’Well.  CaféWell exists for one reason “health”.  A safe place to get information about health issues, receive tips on healthy lifestyles, and challenges. Membership is FREE, it is anonymous and information is always secure.

Café’Well has a program called Reach for the Peaks.  They encourage activities; give awards and prizes, and acknowledgment to insured members.  CafeWell provides free advice, tips and motivation from Olympic Athletes, Health & Wellness Professionals, Diet & Nutritional Experts and more, to help support users with questions and to help them join in all of the challenges that the program provides.

I read some testimonials from participants that convinced me to participate:

"I never thought that I was competitive before.  Now I am counting steps and enjoying seeing them add up.  My husband was actually teasing me a little and telling me that I was competitive after all… It has been fun to encourage each other to get more steps in each day.  It is also fun to see the medals add up.  I don't know whose idea it was to get this program started, but it was a great one.  I sure hope everyone else is enjoying this health competition to get healthy!"

"So today I am taking a step forward to get off the couch and become healthy.  I am overweight, underpaid and not so full of energy!  I know if I think I can, I CAN!  AND I WILL!"

"I'm absolutely thrilled with this motivating program."

I was convinced, so I signed up a month ago and tonight when I see Chris I will tell him that I finally found a group that walks three times a week which has been a big help with my weight loss goal. I am sure he will be thrilled with this great news.
