Safety for our twins
My sister Erin and her husband Derek were so excited to share the good news that they were pregnant. We were all so delighted with this great news. They have been married for five years and have been trying to get pregnant since day one. This will be the first baby in our family and everybody was excited.
A few months later we received another phone call from Erin screaming with joy right after she had her ultrasound " We are having twins !!!". That was the news that made the rest of the family come together to help Erin prepare for the twins. We made a checklist of the things Erin and Derek will need to get ready for the birth of the twins. Erin and I made a tour of the baby sections of different stores to get an idea of what the babies would need. The final list of items was long and we laughed together at the thought of how could a little baby would need more stuff than adults. The list included: clothes, diapers, burp towels, baby bottles, bottle warmer, formula, formula dispenser, pins, cribs, strollers, basinets, basins for bathing and lots of cute stuff. We researched the brands most mothers use for their babies to make sure we purchased the best items. After the list was made, we set-up a baby shower and sent friends and family an invite to sign up online to check our baby shower gift ideas.
Derek and my husband were in charge of converting one of the rooms into a nursery room. They went to the hardware store and purchased paints in different colors. They are having a boy and a girl, so they picked up blue paint for the boy and pink paint for the girl. They purchased materials to build a diaper changing table and baby gates to install on the top and bottom of the stairways. Safety is the most important thing to consider with babies around the house. They also purchased an extra wide safety gate to use when the kids are downstairs playing. The safety gates are not only made to prevent children from falling but also to segregate rooms and create barriers. These safety gates come in different colors and designs and they compliment the style and colors we picked for the nurseries.
Please visit kidcogateshop.com to check out the entire line of safety gates for baby and even pets. With babies in the house safety is our number one priority and Kidcogateshop.com is there to help.
