Creeping Daisy

Today marks my dad's 10th year death anniversary. It's been a decade but I still miss him terribly.
Let's chase away Monday blues with this button sized yellow flower.

Cheer yourself with more @ Mellow Yellow Monday.

Here's wishing everyone a cheery and wonderful week ahead! ~ SimplyCHER

  3. it's a beautiful flower for your dad, Che. he may be gone in this world, but his memory stays forever in your heart. i lost my mom too and whenever i feel confused, I look at her picture and think about her and somehow great decisions coming in as if my mom is there giving me advise.

  4. this pretty yellow flower just made my day, cher! it is raining and thundering over here at the moment, but the bright, cheerful hue of this tiny bloom seems to share a promise of sunshiny, blue-sky days ahead:)

death is, sadly, an inevitable part of life:( i have not lost either parent, but i am sure when they go, i will miss them terribly, as you still miss your dad. how great of you though, cher, to live your life to the fullest in honor of your dad's memory. i have not met you in person, but your photos and the online messages we exchange speak volumes of the goodness of your character- as a wife, a mother, a professional worker, and a friend. have no doubt that your dad is smiling from ear-to-ear up in the Great Beyond, and applauding every worthwhile milestone in your life. i am sure he is very proud of you, as we, your friends, are ... specially when you showcase your talent in photography through brilliant nature photos such as this one:) God bless you, cher, for sharing ...
