Stir fry Beansprouts

This is a quick and easy meal to prepare as it only takes 15 minutes of preparation and cooking time. This is ideal for mums who have to prepare something quick for dinner.

Not only beansprout is easy to prepare, it is also available fresh all year round. It boast an outstanding nutritional value. It is rich in vitamin A, vitamin B complex, vitamin C and E, as well as various minerals including Calcium, Iron and Potassium and been acclaimed the most enzyme-rich food in the planet.

ingredients

beansprouts
bell pepper
spring onion
onion/shallots
garlic
hibi/dried shrimp( soaked in water for at least 5 minutes) or fresh ones
salt
pepper
cooking oil

Saute garlic and onion and add the dried shrimp. Add bell pepper, spring onion and beansprouts. Seasoned with salt and pepper. Stir fry for a minute and take it out of the heat.

Serve hot!

  3. I was wondering what to make for dinner I have the ingredients apart from the spring onions. I am sure I can get them as I am about to go to town.Nd if not will put dome onion rings instead. I know it wont look the same on presentation. will let you know the results later. it will make A change from tagine.

  14. Oh I forgot to add, fresh bean sprout can be added in making pancit. Add it last together with the noodles. Also good with fried rice. Yum!

  15. I love this dish both as a main dish or side dish and when I would have left over... I would recycle it and wrap it in lumpia wrapper and I have lumpiang gulay... dipped in vinegar with minced garlic. Yummmmy
