Irresistible part ll @ Fun Friday

It's time for Fun Friday in our group, Blogging For Fun. We are doing an A to Z challenge. This week, we are working on the letter I again. Some of the Salitype Gals have decided to share some of the things they find irresistible.

MJ says, "Pomegranates and waterfalls are two more things I find irresistible! Red is my favorite color, so I was instantly attracted to pomegranates the first time I saw one at a grocery store here in WV several years ago. Then when I read all about pomegranates' health benefits - how they are rich in antioxidants, which we all need everyday - I fell in love even more with the fruit. Do you guys like pomegranates, too?

And waterfalls ... ahhh, need I say more?:) How can one resist the mighty sound of water tumbling over rocks, cascading into a frothy pool below? This pix shows Rog and I admiring the gorgeous Brush Creek Falls in Mercer County, WV. I was in my 7th month of pregnancy when we hiked up to this falls. I still remember how lovely the weather was that day... how mist from the falls moistened our faces as we sat on rocks a short distance from it, mesmerized by the sound and sight of roaring water. Another irresistible moment in my book!"

Hello blogging buddies, Tes here. I was out of town last week and failed to post something for Blogging for Fun (Salitype opted to do Irresistible). Am glad there's a part ll. Yey! There are so many things I have difficulty resisting, but my nieces and their antics top the list! Hehe. My nieces fascinate me. I love to trail behind them and capture their cute stunts!
In this photo, my nieces (Cate and Yam) were captured as they intently observe a squirrel in the hope of "petting" the elusive fur ball! Hahaha... not a chance. (better luck next time girls!)

Well, they did get lucky! A week after the first photo was taken, we traveled to Arizona and on a visit to the Grand Canyon, found several "super friendly" squirrels! Yey! The girls were thrilled!

  5. Very nice pictures. I find lighthouses irresistible. I like the architecture, the history about each one, and the location where they sit.

  6. Waterfalls are definitely irresistible to me... Pomegranates??? Not really---but I love a Honey Crisp Apple.....

The biggest thing which is irresistible to me is probably peanut butter... ha ha

  7. Irresistibles - Ah and then Pomegranates - Wonderful flavor, but they are a lot to work with. The sweet and tart flavor makes their juice wonderful to drink and they have the really good side of being very good for you, but the seeds and the sectioned rinds are a lot of work. Never the less, when they are first seen in the stores, I by several.
    Water falls mesmerize me.

  8. MJ: I love pomegranates. I grew up with a pomegranate tree in my back yard. I found them magical (still do!)

Tes: How fun! My neices and nephews are endless amounts of fun and wonder.

    Have a wonderful weekend all!

  15. I love that first photo right there! That reminds me of a fairy tale...little red riding hood! heheheheh! But then it also reminds me of Snow White! hehehhehe! Such a sweet, sweet face holding up such a tempting-looking pomegranate...oh! And now I am reminded of the evil Eve in the Bible! Oh dear! So many things I'm reminded of! All at one time! Yikes!

I don't think I've EVER been able to touch a squirrel! They are too clever and too wise and just too fast!
