Watch That Watch!

It's craft time once again at your one-stop corner in the blogosphere, The Salitype Society.

In accessorizing, I make it a rule not to put accessories on BOTH wrists. If I can help it, I try to free the other, it's more practical this way and the overall effect does not give out the over-kill look.

On days when I have a plain blouse that needs extra flair, I pick up a fancy watch that I jazzed-up by using textured and colored beads.

There are assortment of watch faces to choose from. These are available at your local craft store.

Beads of different colors, texture and sizes can also be found at your local craft store.

I use toggle clasp as fastener -easy to use, not to mention, stylish!

Here are some of the watches I've jazzed-up. Guess what, I even made earrings to match!

  3. What a unique-looking watch. The jazzed-up watch is both attractive and fashionable. I'm not a craft-type person. My stepdaughter, on the other hand, enjoys crafts of all kinds. She would enjoy creating a watch such as yours.

  16. Interesting watch faces! I like the oval shaped one on the top right hand side.

I am not an accessory person. The most I would wear are my watch and earrings.

  25. i don't really like to accessorize much, just my watch, bracelet and necklace...on occasions earrings and my wedding ring. that's all. I never really take off my bracelet, watch and necklace since mom gave it to me. she's on the other side of the globe so this is my way of keeping her with me
