if a picture paints a thousand words...

the beauty, the truth and the haunting

......Beauty is all around us to appreciate, to gaze, to capture, to enjoy and above all, to share!

.....The truth. Nature is ever giving, ever nourishing, ever inspiring. It can also be fierce, frightful and unforgiving!

.....The haunting. These two images are quite alarming. It will show the side of life not all of us wants to see. It depicts suffering, pain, frailty. It will arouse compassion, guilt, awareness.

  7. the last two photos are haunting! i bet i can't photograph such sights, i would have fainted before clicking my camera...

the rest tell their own stories. that's what i like with photography. sometimes you can leave your photos without captions coz they paint stories that sometimes we can't put into words...

  13. What a wonderful set of pictures. I am always amazed by the beauty, and beast of nature. Even as humans we can be both beautiful, and beastly. I can not understand for the life of me, why all of us in this amazing world, continue to let countries like Darfur, Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia etc, continue to wreak havoc on their innocent citizens. It is a shame, and something I will never understand.
