Tokwa't Baboy ( Tofu and Pork Dish)

Ingredients:
1 container Tofu (firm)
1 lb. pork
Garlic
Onion
Green bell pepper
Onion leaves
Soy sauce
Vinegar
Salt
Pepper



1. Saute' garlic and onion.
2. Add the sliced tofu, cook until light brown (set aside).
3. Add the sliced pork, cook until brown.
4. Put the tofu back in the pan, add the green bell pepper and onion leaves.
5. Add soy sauce and vinegar.
6. Season with salt and pepper.

  1. Oh wow Chay, this looks mouthwatering! Yum! My brother and brother-in-law loves "Tokwa't Baboy." Sadly for me, tofu (or soy for that matter) is not good for people who have or had cancer. It has an element that triggers the growth of cancer cells. But email this link for my sister -to remind her to serve this for her hubby.

    everytime i'm home, i see to it that i do go "goto me" for a special treat of pork and tofu..

  5. this dish sounds absolutely delicious, chay! i definitely must ask rog to cook it for me one of these days. i'm a big fan of tofu. i just wish they made tofu here like the kind we have back in the philippines .. more solid and tastier. seems the tofu here is mostly softer and tasteless; you really have to marinate it or saute it to give it some flavor. thanks for sharing this dish with us, chay!
